Classical Association of Ireland
About Us
Founded in 1908, our mission is to promote Classics in Ireland. Our members share a common interest in Greece, Rome, and the ancient Mediterranean, we have lectures and social events at our branches in Dublin, Cork, and Limerick, we organise trips to visit sites in the Mediterranean, and sometimes we meet up just to read Latin and Greek.

Events
Our events are both in-person and online, and our audiences have come from all parts of Ireland, the UK, the EU, and the United States, also from as far afield as Argentina, Abu Dhabi, and Lebanon. One message reads: 'Thank you for being so welcoming to non-Classicists at the lecture'. Or: 'Thanks for the great talk - helpful for me as I am in the last year of school considering a Classics degree'
